01Who we are

JP Trucks, located in 1120 Brussels (Neder-Over-Heembeek), is the controller of the personal data described in this privacy policy. Contact: info@jptrucks.be – +32 (0) 2 268 05 41.

02What data we process

When you fill in a form on this website, we process your first name, last name, email address, phone number (optional), your message and – for 'Sell your vehicle' – your vehicle's details and photos.

03Why we process your data

To answer your question, send you an offer and follow up on a possible sale or purchase. The legal basis is your request (pre-contractual measures) and our legitimate interest in serving customers well.

04Retention

We keep your data no longer than necessary: requests that do not lead to an agreement are deleted no later than 24 months after the last contact. For customers, statutory accounting periods apply.

05Sharing with third parties

We never sell your data. We use processors for hosting and email (including Vercel, Convex and Combell), with whom data processing agreements are in place.

06Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and the right to object. Email info@jptrucks.be to exercise these rights. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (www.dataprotectionauthority.be).

07Cookies

We use necessary storage to operate the website and retain your cookie choice with OpenConsent for up to 180 days in your browser’s local storage. OpenConsent does not create a visitor ID or transmit a consent log. Necessary storage cannot be disabled in cookie preferences.

Only after your explicit permission do we load Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) to measure visits to public pages. Before your choice or after rejection, no Analytics requests, including cookieless measurements, are sent to Google. Analytics uses pseudonymous identifiers in _ga and _ga_* cookies, with a configured lifetime of up to 180 days, and processes visit and technical browser data. Your IP address is also transmitted when contacting Google; Google may process data outside the EEA. We use no advertising category or Google Signals. URL query parameters, fragments and form contents are not passed to Analytics.

Your consent is the legal basis for Analytics. You can change or withdraw it at any time using ‘Cookie preferences’ at the bottom of each public page. Withdrawal stops Analytics and removes this website’s Analytics cookies; it does not undo previous processing. If browser storage is blocked, your choice applies only while the page remains open and we ask again on a later visit. The admin area does not use Analytics.

Necessary (always active)

We store your cookie preferences on this device for up to 180 days. Without permission, Analytics stays off.

Google Analytics 4 measures visited pages with _ga cookies (up to 180 days). No advertising, form contents or URL query parameters. Google may process data outside the EEA. You can withdraw permission here at any time.
